Microsoft Security Engineer (m/w/d)

In your role as a Security Engineer, you are part of the specialized security unit, which operates as a staff function within IT. Together with your two colleagues, you identify pain points, create security concepts, and improve awareness within the company. Your specialty is Microsoft Security, for which you are responsible. In this position, you are expected not only to react statically but also to proactively develop and implement ideas.

Your responsibilities:

Operating IT security tools such as Microsoft Sentinel and Defender, and participating in international rollouts
Analyzing threat intelligence and identifying anomalies
Developing cybersecurity concepts for different environments, both in the cloud and physical infrastructure
Auditing internal and external systems and infrastructure to assess the level of protection
Monitoring the IT security market for developments in attack techniques, risks, and vulnerabilities within the company, and deriving appropriate protection strategies

Your skills:

Knowledge in Microsoft 365 Security (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender)
Knowledge in network segmentation/firewalls is an advantage
Enjoyment in analyzing attack scenarios and deriving appropriate measures
